Joining HMVS

The Details:

Horseshoe Mountain Village School runs four days per week from September through May.

Full-time private school tuition is $8000, which includes all books, materials, and field trips. There are no other fees.

Individual classes are also available for homeschoolers.

 

Tuition Refund Policy: HMVS will refund all tuition payments up until the first day of school. After that, there are no refunds.

A "goodness of fit" is important when selecting a school for your child. To help ensure that HMVS is the right place, we ask that you read over the materials on this website so you understand our approach. 

 

Know that we make commitments to families and we ask families to make commitments too.

• Document, assess, and support children's learning and growth (our curriculum is informed but not limited by Utah State Standards).

• Take an active role in their child's education, e.g., helping in the classroom or assisting with field trips, special events, etc. 

• Communicate clearly and regularly with school staff. 

• Ensure that children are active, engaged learners by adapting CM principles at home as much as possible -- reading good books, playing together, and spending time in nature.
